E/R: Man Beheaded in Akyem Amonom


 


A 73-year-old farmer has allegedly been murdered at Akyem Amonom a farming community in Atiwa West District of the Eastern Region.

Sources in the town told mybrytfmonline.com that the deceased, Obuobisa Larweh, left the house on January 5, 2021, to farm but did not return.

The youth in the community mobilized to search for him but was unfortunately found dead with the head reportedly cut off.

The local Police have retrieved the body and deposited it at the morgue for preservation.

The investigation has begun for the arrest of the assailant(s).
